If you are a youth, or a community member who wishes to share their knowledge, skills, and time in the garden, there are volunteer opportunities available in the Earth Matters gardens. If you are passionate about the environment and want an avenue to express your ideas, we welcome your participation. If you would like to financially support our future endeavors, we welcome your donations. Tax receipts are available.

Im wanting to know if there is any program running for the fruit season? where people are asking for their fruit to be picked and people can go and help by picking it for them in exchange for fruit for themselves and part for the food bank? If you know of something please let me know… or if you have people interested, I would love to help set something up!

Hi Sorry for the delay in response! There is a program called Harvest Rescue. It is being operated by the Nelson Food Cupboard. Their phone number is 250-551-VEGE.
