The Earth Matters ECO Store is an exciting NEW social enterprise that has been developed to address important social, environmental and economic goals in our community.

The ECO Store is an innovative Retail Training site for people experiencing barriers to employment as well as an exciting new hub for environmentally sustainable lifestyle products, information, and service.


This social enterprise is owned and operated by Nelson CARES Society.


The Earth Matters ECO Store is both a retail store and an on-line store in Nelson, BC carrying four major product lines: all-natural, all-purpose cleaning concentrate, water cooler and filtration products, indoor/outdoor composting solutions, and indoor and vertical gardening systems.


The Earth Matters ECO Store has been made possible through support from a variety of funders who believed in our unique concept and in social enterprise development. We feel fortunate for the funding support from Vancouver Foundation's Disability Supports for Employment Fund, Enterprising Non-Profits, Basin Business Advocates, Community Living BC, and the Nelson CARES Society.
